What is Tiller?
Tiller automatically updates your bank transactions and balances into a Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel workbook.
Why a spreadsheet?
Spreadsheets are the most flexible, customizable way to manage your money. Unlike rigid budgeting apps, a Tiller-powered spreadsheet works exactly the way you want it to. You're in control of how your data looks, what you track, and how you analyze it.
Tiller's Foundation Template gives you a head start with budgets, spending insights, cash flow, and net worth tracking built in. From there, it's yours to customize.
How it works
1. Connect your accounts: Tiller securely links to your bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and investments using two trusted data providers: Yodlee and Plaid. Between them, they support over 10,000 financial institutions.
2. Automated Updates: Once connected, Tiller checks for new transactions and balances every day and makes them ready to fill into your spreadsheet. For most institutions, Tiller can pull new transactions and balances automatically.
3. You stay in control: Every transaction lands in your spreadsheet for you to review, categorize, and analyze.
π Note: Tiller currently supports U.S. customers only, and uses U.S. currency and date formats.
