You can connect an existing Google Sheet to your Tiller account to automate your bank data to the spreadsheet. Goodbye CSVs!
Formatting Your Sheet
Before connecting your sheet, please read through the following formatting requirements:
If your Google Sheet already has a sheet called “Transactions”, Tiller will be able to feed data to any supported columns. If it doesn't have a Transactions sheet, create a tab named Transactions and add the columns you want to see filled.
If your Google Sheet already has a sheet called “Balance History” Tiller will be able to feed data to any supported columns. If it does not have a Balance History sheet create a tab named Balance History and add the columns you want to see filled.
Be sure to use the supported columns reference for the header key words that are required in row 1.
‼️ IMPORTANT: Add the Tiller.HiddenMeta data tab to your Google Sheet (template here) and make sure to rename the tab exactly Tiller.HiddenMetadata - Hide the tab. Do not edit or add any data to this tab. It's necessary for the fills to work.
You may need to modify your existing dashboards or analysis sheets to work with the core sheets that Tiller can fill. The sheet names and headers are reserved for Tiller’s feeds to work.
